Discovering one of the most important art collections in Lombardy

Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo

Located in the storied Palazzo Martinengo da Barco, the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo is one of the city’s main art museums and home to one most significant art collections in Lombardy. The exhibition brings together masterpieces ranging from the Renaissance to the 19th century, offering an overview of some of the high points in the history of Italian art.
The artists represented include Raffaello, Lorenzo Lotto, Antonio Canova, Francesco Hayez and Giacomo Ceruti, in a collection featuring paintings, sculptures, gold objects, enamels and medals that testify to the richness and variety of the heritage it preserves.
The section devoted to Renaissance painting from the Brescia area is of particular note, with works by Moretto, Romanino, Giovanni Girolamo Savoldo and Vincenzo Foppa, key figures in an artistic period of extraordinary importance for the Brescia area.
The Palazzo – a meticulously restored 16th-century building – contains 21 refurbished exhibition rooms today, designed to showcase the works and offer visitors a harmonious and immersive experience, while respecting the historical identity of the original architecture.

The Integrated Museum Ticket, available exclusively to Premium CLUB card holders at the reduced rate of €16 (instead of €19), also includes admission to the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo – as well as to the other museums in Brescia’s municipal network – and is valid until 31 August 2026.
